5) …handle a crisis calmly and with reasoned thinking?
6) …take responsibility for his own actions?
7) …think before he acts (even if he acts quickly)?
8) …tell the truth?
9) …sometimes feel the need to defend the rights of others less physically or mentally strong than himself?
10)…keep the focus on himself and not worry about what other people think?
11)…get bored with attention because he is so used to it?
12)…tend to get lots of recognition even when he is not making any effort?
If you answered “Yes” to 7 or more of these questions, you are very likely dating an Alpha Male. You have found yourself someone who is self-assured, confident, ambitious, and charismatic. Watch for the less mature Alpha Male’s tendencies to be more interested in short-term dating and to frequently change partners. When you feel comfortable enough, ask about his past relationships, find out how long they lasted, who ended it, and why, and see if there is a pattern. If a pattern exists, you don’t have to leave…just file it away as more information about this person, in case any red flags come up later.
If you answered “Yes” to 3-6 of these questions, you may be dating a Beta Male. They may not be as driven or recognised as the Alpha Male, but there are many benefits to dating a Beta Male. If you have one in your life, you very likely have someone who is more emotionally connected, creative, humble, nurturing, and less stressed out, which can lead to better long-term health than the average, driven Alpha Male. The more mature Beta Male is likely to be interested in a long-term relationship.
If you answered “Yes” to less than 3 of these questions, you may have an Omega Male in your life. Many Omega Males do not get involved in relationships and do not tend to take as prominent a role in society, so if you answered “Yes” to less than 3 of these questions, your man might not be the most available partner. For some of us who like to travel and love our space, though, that’s ideal!
